Spormann or Barth ? family, 1930

This soldier in the Black Duke's "Black Band of Vengeance" pictured here is an ancestor of mine from Braunschweig, Germany (possibly Barth or Bodenstein). A close look at the front of his hat reveals the skull and cross bones of the Duke's army.
