On September 8, 1923 the USS Chauncey (DO 296), Delphy (DD 261), Fuller (DD 297), Nicholas (DO 311), S.P. Lee (DD 310, Woodbury (DD 309) and the Young (DD 312) ran aground at Point Pedemales, off Santa Barbara, California. The pictures below are Sever Photos of that and the resulting salvage of the S.P.
